Abstract
The article presents Annie Ernaux‟s literature as representative for the “contemporary extreme”, French expression that encompasses different tendencies and types of writing which have developed since the 80s. In Annie Ernaux‟s literature, we recognize one of its characteristics in the influence of sociology, especially due to the emphasis given to the effects driven by the differences between social classes, approach that leads to an almost scientific style, another one in the writing of the “self” that implies the permanent appeal to collective experiences, in the choice of painful events as main themes of her works (the shame due to poverty and to lack of education, the mourning, the abortion, the cancer). The autobiographical novel L’Evénement, written in 2000, recalls an abortion that the writer had at a young age, fact that was forbidden by law in the 60s. The writer confesses a personal trauma in order to call into question the abuse of a law, the conservatism of certain mentalities and the silent pain of an entire female community.
Résumé
L‟article présente la littérature d‟Annie Ernaux comme appartenant au roman de « l‟extrême contemporain », formule française qui comprend diverses tendances et types d‟écriture, à partir des années 80 et jusqu‟à nos jours. Parmi les caractéristiques de celui-ci, nous trouvons dans la littérature d‟Annie Ernaux l‟influence de la sociologie, notamment la constatation des effets des différences de classe sociale, approche qui mène à un style presque scientifique, ensuite l‟écriture du « moi » qui renvoie en permanence à des expériences collectives, le choix comme thèmes d‟événements douloureux (la honte de la pauvreté et du manque d‟instruction, le deuil, l‟avortement, le cancer).Le roman autobiographique L‟Evénement paru en 2000 remémore un avortement de jeunesse de l‟écrivaine, lorsque celui-ci était, dans les années 60, interdit par la loi. L‟écrivaine témoigne sur un trauma personnel afin de dénoncer l‟abus d‟une loi, le conservatisme de certaines mentalités et la souffrance silencieuse de toute une communauté de femmes.
Rezumat
Articolul prezintă literatura lui Annie Ernaux ca aparţinând romanului « extremului contemporan », formulă franceză care cuprinde diverse tendinţe şi tipuri de scriitură, începând cu anii 80 şi până în zilele noastre. Printre caracteristicile acestui roman, găsim în literatura lui Annie Ernaux influenţa sociologiei, cu predilecţie constatarea efectelor diferenţelor de clasă socială, abordare care duce la un stil aproape ştiinţific, apoi scriitura « eu »-lui care trimite în permanenţă la experienţe colective, alegerea ca teme a unor evenimente dureroase ( ruşinea sărăciei şi a lipsei de instrucţie, doliul, avortul, cancerul). Romanul autobiografic L‟Evénement din anul 2000 rememorează un avort de tinereţe al scriitoarei, atunci când acesta era, în anii „60, interzis prin lege. Scriitoarea aduce mărturie asupra unei traume personale cu scopul de a denunţa abuzul unei legi, conservatorismul unor mentalităţi şi suferinţa tăcută a unei întregi comunităţi feminine.
