Abstract

Pursuing the report between the ego and the world, the author refers to the Balkan universe of the Flowers of Mildew (the point of departure is Anton Pann, whose work blends the oriental and the occidental elements). The flower of mildew is an outlawed world well known to T. Arghezi, the poet being convinced that those deprived of freedom are in no way worse than those on the other side of the bars.
