Abstract
The objective of this article is to reflect on the role of the Russian language in the construction of the national identity by analysing the values and the use of the Russian words narod et nacija and their French equivalents peuple and nation. The author argues for the importance of linguistic data for this type of study.
Résumé
L’objectif de cet article est de réfléchir sur le rôle de la langue russe dans la construction de l’identité nationale, en analysant les valeurs et l’emploi des mots russes narod et nacija et de leurs équivalents français peuple et nation. L’auteur montre l’importance des données linguistiques pour ce type d’études.
Rezumat
Obiectivul acestui articol îl constituie reflecţia asupra rolului limbii ruse în construirea identităţii naţionale, analizând valorile şi modurile de utilizare a cuvintelor ruseşti narod şi nacija şi a echivalentelor franceze peuple şi nation. Autorul arată importanţa datelor lingvistice pentru acest tip de studii.
