Abstract

In this paper, the author presents the Romanian writer Ionel Teodoreanu. He wrote the most beautiful pages of the special delivery period, the childhood and the teenage, so called “the Golden Age” of man. The feelings of this age have a special national peculariarities of the lirico-epic style, such as gentleness, melancholy and nostalgy, which forms one of our main national psychological features. But, in the old provinces:  Moldavia and Bukovina of our contry, according to our great literary critics, it is called “medelenism”, a name acquired from our literary critics. The novel “At Medeleni” in the presentation of a trilogy (Unreliable Boundary, Roads and Gone with the Winds) is one of the most significant literary work of Ionel Teodoreanu. The description of the childhood world, allow us to bring together with comparative literature foreign authors of the romantic current, and with the well-renowed little stories “Carroture” written by the French novelist Jules Renard.
