Abstract
The aim of this paper is to study Romanian cultural institutions from Novi Sad, the capital city of the Autonomic Province of Voivodina, having in mind the fact that it is the cultural and administrative centre of this region. The majorities of Romanians live and are concentrated in the Serbian part of Banat. There are about 800 Romanians living in Novi Sad, nevertheless the Romanian minority is administratively recognized together with the other minorities which have a well defined status.
