IDENTICAL AND DIFFERENT: THE IDENTITY IN THE DECENTERED WORLD
IDENTIC ŞI DIFERIT: IDENTITATEA ÎN LUMEA DESCENTRATĂ
Abstract
In this paper we will analyze the relationship between globalization processes, as well as the intensification of social relations/communications at the planetary level and types of identity through such communication form. Our hypothesis is that changes in the sphere of social identity can produce structurally seen as a consequence of changes in the process of producing social communication. In other words, we believe that the identity, regardless of whether it is a question of personal or group, has been re-production, based on collective relations; that the dominant framework for producing identity in the last few centuries a nation, personified in the national state; that the processes of global communication largely relativized framework of national states; so that the production of identity must now look at it from a different, individual perspective.
Rezumat
În lucrare va fi cercetată legătura dintre procesul de globalizare, ca un proces de intensificare a relaţiilor sociale/comunicaţiilor la nivel planetar şi tipurile de identitate care se formează printr-un astfel de mod de comunicare. Presupunerea noastră este că schimbările apărute în sfera producerii sociale a identităţii pot fi urmărite ca modificări în procesul de producere socială a comunicaţiei. Cu alte cuvinte, considerăm că identitatea, atât cea personală cât şi cea de grup, a reprezentat dintotdeauna o re-producţie, bazată pe relaţii colective; cadrul dominant al producerii identităţii în ultimele câteva secole l-a reprezentat naţiunea, întruchipată în statul naţional; că procesele de comunicaţie globală s-au realizat în mare parte în cadrul statului naţional; astfel că şi producerea identităţii trebuie azi privită dintr-o altă perspectivă, individuală.
