Abstract
Throughout the pages of this work I have attempted a brief exposition of our preoccupations
regarding the promotion of Romanian culture values in the French academic environments, during
the over two decades of exile.
At the centre of our activity has laid the philosophical works of Lucian Blaga, which we
translated and published, succeeding in capturing the interest in the originality and openness
offered by the latter in the field of contemporary philosophical reflection. In this respect, we have as
testimony the works of the International Philosophy Coloquium “Lucian Blaga”, the activity of the
French Association of Stylistic Philosophy and the numerous studies published in the “Philosophia
Perennis” magazine.
At the same time, the “Du Savoir” Bookstore and Publishing house, through their entire
activity were, during all this period, an important reference point of the Romanian cultural
presence in the capital city of France.
