Abstract
The present paper presents a few princilpes of textuality of which an apprentice translator must be aware.Our goal is to highlighten the importance of textual pitfalls while translating a text.The elements of textuality are numerous and complex given the fact that we exceed the framework of the perihrase thus entering a superior level.
Elements such as verbal tenses, connectots, anaphores are situated at the level of the text and not at that of the sentence and they can constitute obstacles for the apprentice translator either in the comprehension phase or in the rendering of the meaning of the text.
